I lived in Michigan when I was young, I left for Florida around 2009. So, quite often, the issue was not really grinding up the weed, more or less FINDING the weed was the issue where I was living at. Fast forward to today, where I can find weed at basically every corner in Michigan.
So, for a few months when I got here (summer), I learned that just a decent grinder works for most people. Until winter started rolling in, I quickly learned that I have nerve damage in my legs/feet/hands pretty bad, and grinding was now an issue for me. This pain is caused by my type 1 diabetes, this pain feels more or less like numbness/tingling/electrocution in my legs, arms, and fingers. Let me be clear, marijuana doesn’t just solve the pain issues, but it makes the pain way easier to deal with and I don’t have to take any of the weird medications for nerve pain that cause Alzheimer’s and memory issues.
Around that same time (winter) my boss who also loves marijuana almost as much as I do, handed me a WAK IT grinder brand new in the box (shoutout to Mike) because he saw my struggle. When it gets cold enough, there’s no way I can even operate the hand grinders, my hands are numb from the cold in a way similar to frostbite (diabetic nerve damage).
My life was not complete until I got this grinder, I spent honestly 20 minutes just grinding up a few nugs sometimes because of how much it hurt my hands, and I still just kept grinding weed of course.
About 4 seconds. That’s how long it takes me to grind up an eighth of weed with this grinder. And I can do it one handed and it requires no effort.
It sounds impossible to do even out loud. It has a standard USB MICRO port for charging it even. I got this LAST NOVEMBER, I have NOT CHARGED IT SINCE THIS LAST WEEK and it has been ALIVE THIS ENTIRE TIME and I shit you not I smoke so much weed that it regularly hurts me and causes me more pain than I began with sometimes.
My point here is simple, if you are going to spend $25-30 on a decent hand grinder that, you should just upgrade immediately to one of the WAK IT grinders.
I can no longer grind weed without this grinder.
It really just grinds weed with 0 effort
